M7 is the SMA DO-214AC package of 1N4007. It is an ordinary rectifier diode with withstand voltage of 1000V and maximum average forward rectified current of 1A. Commonly used in AC220V rectifier circuit.

What can be used to replace rectifier diode M7?What are the parameters of chip diode M7 and what tube can be used to replace it? What types of diodes are M7 SMD diodes common to? What is the difference between chip rectifier diode M7 and A7? Rectifier diodes can be made of semiconductor germanium or silicon. M7 and A7 are silicon rectifier diodes with unidirectional conductivity, high breakdown voltage, low reverse leakage current and good high temperature performance. Generally speaking, the rectifier diode with high reverse voltage can replace the rectifier diode with low reverse voltage, and the diode with high rectifier current value can replace the diode with low rectifier current value. For example, M7 diodes can replace M6, M5, M4, m3, M2 and M1, and A7 patch diodes can replace A6, A5, A4, A3, A2 and A1.

Difference between diode M7 and A7

It can be seen from the above parameter details that the biggest difference between M7 and A7 lies in the packaging form. The diode M7 package is SMA / DO-214AC, the diode A7 package is sod-123FL, and the volume of M7 is larger than A7. The forward non repetitive surge current of M7 is 5A larger than that of A7, and the junction temperature difference is 5 ° C. The main difference between M7 and A7 is the packaging form. What is the different between WEET SMA S2M, WEET SMB S2M, WEET SMAF S2M and WEET SOD-123FL S2M?

Firstly, they have something in common, both of them are 3A and 1000V, with laser marking S2M on the surface of product's body.

But in mostly cases, SMB package S2M can replace the rest of them.

From the size, the order list should be as SMB is the largest one, then follow up by SMA, later is SMAF, the smallest one is SOD-123FL.

The smaller one does not means the performance is weaker. Do to different applications, each of the package can make the greatest use of itself.
